Champs through the decades
April 01, 2017
For several decades the island's student athletes have impressed the country and even the world with their performances at the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships that is held in St Andrew yearly.
Popular athletes like Usain Bolt, Anneisha McLaughlin, Warren Weir, Kaliese Spencer and Veronica Campbell-Brown first made their mark on the tracks at the National Stadium.
THE STAR and The Gleaner have been there since the very early days, and we have the pictures to prove it.
Reminisce with us as we look back at Champs through the decades.
