Recording artiste DiTranQuil is hopeful his latest single, 'Don't let Me Go', can make him a household name.

"My biggest goal is to find that big hit song and have persons know me," the artiste told THE STAR.

TOURING

"I want to be able to tour different places and become a household name worldwide."

As part of his strategy to become one of Jamaica's most notable artistes, DiTranQuil says he's looking to saturate the music industry. He is currently putting together two EPs and he is absolutely unapologetic about the number of songs he will be releasing.

"Two EPs might seem like a lot of work for some people, but if you look at people like Vybz Kartel, the work ethic is not normal. He sold gold with no major promotion, and that shows that work ethic is very important," he said.

"I am going to be putting out quite a few songs so people can get familiar with who I am and my sound. I have no doubt that once they get to know what I'm capable of, the support will come."

DiTranQuil said that he admires the likes of Koffee and Jada Kingdom.

"Koffee's Grammy win has inspired me a lot. It has pushed me to work harder and has given me more confidence to produce positive music. Because of her success, I believe even more that good music can take me places," he said.

Of Jada Kingdom, he said: "I love her sound and what she stands for as an artiste. She has been taking her time and making the moves and I admire that a lot," he said. "I would love to get the chance to work with her."
