Hot Frass making moves in 2020
Last year he topped the charts with Polo and later followed up with the radio hit Cup Cake.
Now deejay Hot Frass is continuing the momentum for 2020 and recently released the track Birthday Boy.
"Actually, the night when I get the riddim the next day was my birthday. So is like from I get the riddim, a voice in my head said 'Record a birthday song' and I did," said Hot Frass.
Birthday Boy was produced by reggae artiste I-Octane for his Conquer the Globe Productions label.
"I learnt a lot working with I-Octane. He showed me a lot of things musically. He is a real youth and he's clean hearted and not a selfish person. He's also willing to help other artistes, so nuff respect to I-Octane for the opportunity," Hot Frass said.
Hot Frass is also doing work with other producers including Buss Ears Records. He has a number of new material to drop plus music videos and collaborations.
Picledge, who is credited for directing several music videos for Tommy Lee Sparta, worked on the video for Birthday Boy, which is to be released shortly.
Played and excelled
Originally from Hampton Court in St Thomas, Hot Frass (given name Romaine Lindsay) is a former student of Paul Bogle High School.
During his high school years, he played and excelled at cricket and studied the sciences.
He is gearing up for a run of performances in England in March, where he has three confirmed dates (March 26 to 28).
"The new year has been good so far and I give thanks for the support from the media, the radio and street DJs both locally and overseas, and to the persons who have continued to support my career," said Hot Frass.
