Big Mo trodding his own path in music

Dancehall newcomer Big Mo is reveling in the success of his newly released song, Money Spree.

The overwhelming response so far has been particularly noteworthy, as the dancehall- and hip-hop-infused track is the artiste's debut single.

"The feedback has been great so far. The song has been getting a lot of rave reviews at weekly events such as Uptown Mondayz, Boasy Tuesdays, Weddy Weddy, and Day Rave, and it is also in consistent rotation on the radio airwaves," said Big Mo. The accompanying music video will be released early 2020.

He may be new to the professional music scene but is no stranger to musical greatness, being the son of iconic reggae artiste Junior Reid.

"It's more motivating than anything else," said Big Mo. "Big shoes to fill, but I try not to get caught up in the pressure of living up to that."

Officially signed to his father's JR Production, Big Mo is taking up the mantle and making his own name in the music business.

"I'm just being myself and keeping it original. I'll let the music speak for itself, and hopefully, when it's all said and done, I will have as big of an impact as he had in the game," he said.
