Chi Ching Ching taking career to the next level

July 03, 2019

Dancehall artiste Chi Ching Ching has released the official music video for his song ' Top Boss', and says the visuals are so good, they will propel him to the next level.

He says the video, which was recently shot in Ontario, Canada, is unlike any he has put together to date and that he is looking forward to it doing well.

"Everything clean, crisp, and look international," he said. "It was like taking mi ting to a new level for me, and now we want to go higher and higher and higher. We a unlock new levels every day."

Producer for the track, and CEO of Money Matters ENT, Brooklyn News, agreed that the video was the next level for Ching.

He said the video had to present a different vibe than that which the artiste has grown accustomed to.

"We were in Canada and Kieran Khan, the video director, just said let's do a video, and someone suggested doing Top Boss and before we knew it, we were shooting a high-end type, hip-hop video with all the cars and the big fancy mansion. The song has more of a hip-hop origin than dancehall, which is outside of what the artiste is known for," News said. "That's what makes it stand out, as Ching is actually rapping on the track instead of deejaying."

News added that despite the short window they had to work with for the video, things worked out perfectly.

"The team was able to pull out all the stops for the video, accumulating a million-dollar mansion, some high-end cars, which included Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsche and a topless Mercedes-Benz, putting a heavy price tag on the production," News said.

The video also saw a cameo appearance from Grammy-winning international act Sean Paul.

Chi Ching Ching is signed to Paul's Dutty Rock Productions. Ching also released his debut album, Turning Tables, on the label.
