His steamy single ' Feelings Too Heavy', which was released in March, is almost at the 1.5 million-view mark on YouTube, and while that is an accomplishment, dancehall artiste Laden says he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.

The entertainer has announced the release of his new single, Need Fi Know Yuh. He hopes the track will keep people talking.

"This song is on volume two of the G6ixx riddim with songs from Kartel, Squash, Teejay, Chronic Law and more. It's a song where I'm targeting a specific girl. It's laced with lyrics and full of melody. Any man weh nuh know wah fi say to a girl when dem a try off a her can listen da song here," he said.

Laden said that people have been talking about him in 2019 since the release of Feelings Too Heavy.

"That song has been doing extremely well, and I hope this one can get people talking even more," he said. "I was away from the scene for some time, and during that time, I realised that when I did become active in music again, I want to keep going. I am trying to do that by releasing new material when I can, and not just any material but songs people can relate to."

The song was released on all digital platforms on May 31 and, according to the artiste, has been doing extremely well so far.

"For a song weh just release, it's doing great. People a talk bout it, disc jocks a play it on the radio stations and by the big selectors in the dance. Even overseas you have radio disc jocks playing it. I'm very pleased so far," he said. "My music continues to grow, and I am happy with every track I've released since the start of the year. I know people are just familiarising themselves with Laden again, but dem can get used to me because I'm not going anywhere. This industry is competitive, and only the strong will survive, but I believe I have what it takes to go all the way. Look out for more big things from Laden."

In addition to Feelings Too Heavy, Laden also enjoyed some success from a collaborative effort with AceGawd.

The two released the track Top Choppa last month, and the single has also been doing well. In little more than a month, the track has racked up more than 35,000 views.
