Jamaica's Malik James-King (right), with a 48.39 seconds lifetime best, wins the men's 400 metres hurdles ahead of the British Virgin Island’s Kyron McMaster at the Jamaica Athletics Invitation at the National Stadium tonight.

Jamaica's Malik James-King smashed his personal best, overtaking Kyron McMaster coming in the homestretch then withstood a late surge from the British Virgin Islands's athlete at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational at the National Stadium tonight.

James-King lowered his personal best to 48.39 seconds, while McMaster clocked 49.00. Jamaica's Jaheel Hyde finished third in 49.48.
