Donovan 'Razor' Ruddock and James 'Lights Out' Toney will highlight the feature bout at the legend boxing series 'Rumble in the Sun', set for November 11 at the National Indoor Sports Centre.

Both fighters, legends in their own right, promised to put on a show for the Jamaican audience during the event's launch at the AC Marriot Hotel on Wednesday.

Toney, a fighter with the distinction of fighting and winning titles in multiple weight classes, from lightweight to heavyweight, said he is ready to match skills with Ruddock, a boxer he respects immensely.

"I look to this privilege. I am excited to be there. They have invited me over for a fight and we will have a good time and give everybody a great show.

"'Razor' had some great fights in the past, I had some good fights in the past. So you will see a certain amount of skills even though it is just an exhibition. We are going to have fun," he commented via live video at the launch.

Ruddock, who at 59 years of age is four years Toney's senior, said he will be bringing the fight to his opponent.

"I don't talk smack, but I hear you (Toney) talking a lot of smoke, but I am bringing the fire," he declared.

However, James responded: "You bring the fire and I'll bring the water hose."

Both men insist that, despite their ages, they are both in superb physical condition, with Ruddock pointing out that it is for a worthy cause.

"I run 22 miles a day. I am faster and stronger and no one will believe me because they are saying age. Some people will think that age made me worse, but age has made me better.

"I love boxing, and, because I love boxing, I will give back to boxing and the kids and all of Jamaica will benefit," he said.

The event, being held in collaboration with the Jamaica Boxing Association, the Ministry of Sport and Triller Sports, will have four under cards with Jamaican boxers going up against international fighters.

Proceeds from the event will aid Good Hope Primary School in Red Ground, Old Harbour in St Catherine.
