The NDM candidates contesting the general election
With all eyes set on the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) and the People's National Party (PNP) today, few persons remember that there is a third party contesting Jamaica's 17th general election.
But the National Democratic Movement (NDM) is relentless in its pursuit to give Jamaicans a third option at the polls.
Earlier this month, NDM president Peter Townsend admitted that the party's candidates don't stand a chance against their People's National Party and Jamaica Labour Party opponents.
However, Townsend says the party is aiming to give undecided voters a third option today.
Here are the 7 NDM candidates contesting today's election:
Terence Lindo – St Andrew North Eastern

Dr Rosemarie Higgins – St Andrew North Western and Curtis Campbell -St Catherine South Eastern

Leonard Sharpe – Hanover Western

Graham McDonnough, Jr – St Ann North Western

Eton Williams – Clarendon Northern

Ras Astor Black – St James Southern
